Have You Wormed Your Horse Lately? A Reminder...

I know there are some newbie horse owners that read this blog so I'm throwing out a reminder to worm that equine(s) in the barn today!

I kind of got off schedule due to my moving but now need to get back in the swing of things for my mare. Now is better than ever, always a good time to get started on something!

Hop on down to the feed store or you can order wormer from any of the online vet catalogs. If you order enough at one time, you can get generic ivermectin for as little as something like $2.99 a tube! If you want to snag those nasty old tapeworms, then go for the Zimectrin Gold.

As before, I'm not much on rotating but if you feel you need to, then by all means start up a program and stick with it.

The main thing is to keep a sharp eye on your 'pony and slug some wormer down him to keep him on the road to good health!
